Tower 45

LB Architects designed a dramatic atrium and lobby renovation at Tower 45 on West 45th Street, a Class A building owned by SL Green. The atrium’s most striking feature is a large, geometric light fixture suspended 16 stories above street level; given its weight – 11,000 pounds – ACC worked closely with the engineers on the installation. Inside, a smaller fixture, also suspended from the ceiling, mirrors the larger one. New signage, a gypsum case wave wall, reception desk and refurbished elevator cabs were also part of LB’s dynamic design.
